SINGAPORE: A Singapore Exchange (SGX) unit has denied claims from a Geneva-based commodities trader that it failed to meet its statutory and contractual obligations in producing a key benchmark for the cost of shipping oil from the Middle East.
KUALA LUMPUR: Thunderstorms , heavy rain and strong winds are expected to hit most states until 5pm on Monday , according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
In an alert issued at 2.30 pm, MetMalaysia said the affected areas include Perlis, as well as Kedah and Penang . The same warning also covers Perak , Pahang and Selangor .
In addition, similar weather conditions are expected in Negeri Sembilan , Melaka , and Johor . In Sarawak, the affected areas include Sri Aman, Betong , Sarikei , Sibu , Mukah , Bintulu , Miri , as well as Limbang.
