Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri has urged the executive department to file a complaint against China with the United Nations following the water cannon incident at Ayungin Shoal in the West Philippine Sea .
Zubiri said he had enough of China's recent"atrocities" in the WPS, and diplomatic protests and note verbales sent by the Department of Foreign Affairs will not suffice to stop"Those acts done were completely illegal and therefore a complaint should be filed under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea with the UN," said Zubiri.
