Pennsylvania is among the top five 'Scooby-Doo' obsessed states in the country.
assessed Google Trends search interest in relation to 97 key “Scooby-Doo” keywords in each state from June 2021 to June 2022. This data was then broken up into four separate categories—”Characters & Related Terms;” “TV Shows;” “Movies;” and “Actors”—in order to not only get a pulse on the nation’s “Scooby” appreciation, but which character was favored where the most.Pennsylvania as the number three overall state that loves the franchise the most.
“Pennsylvania comes in third in terms of ‘Scooby-Doo’ obsession and is the site of two of the mysteries the gang has solved throughout the years,” reads the study. “The first, ‘Scooby-Do! Frankencreepy,’ has the crew had out to the fictional Transylvania, PA with Velma, and the other takes place during an episode of ‘Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?’ on a historic Civil War battlefield in the Keystone State.
