The Zamfara State command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corp, NSCDC has charged phone sellers in the state to stop buying stolen telephones as it is dangerous. The commandant of the Corps in the state, Dani Mustapha further warned scrapped sellers to desist from buying and selling vandalized properties.
According to the statement signed by the Corp spokesman, SC Ikor Oche, the commandant gave the warning when it hosted the state leadership of the Amalgamated Traders Association Zamfara State chapter at the state command headquarters in Gusau on Tuesday. The statement said the enabling Act of the Corp 2023 part section 3 empowers the Corp to monitor the activities of the trade associations throughout the country.
The State NSCDC boss also tasked the Amalgamated Traders Association in the state to be transparent in their business operations. Speaking earlier, the leader of the team, Muhammad Zubairu commended the Corp for the commitment it has exhibited in the fight against criminal elements in the state. Zubairu who led the team of traders extolled the Corps in the fight against crime and social vices in the state.
