BUKIT MERTAJAM : Zakat Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Pulau Pinang (Zakat MAINPP) berjaya membuat kutipan zakat keseluruhan sebanyak RM172.85 juta sepanjang tahun lepas iaitu peningkatan sebanyak 8.25 peratus daripada jumlah yang direkod pada tahun sebelumnya.

BUKIT MERTAJAM : Zakat Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Pulau Pinang berjaya membuat kutipan zakat keseluruhan sebanyak RM172.85 juta sepanjang tahun lepas iaitu peningkatan sebanyak 8.25 peratus daripada jumlah yang direkod pada tahun sebelumnya.

Beliau yang juga Timbalan Ketua Menteri 1 berkata, jumlah kutipan untuk zakat fitrah sepanjang 2024 pula adalah sebanyak RM7.33 juta iaitu peningkatan kira-kira 7.33 peratus berbanding RM6.83 juta pada 2023. “Penurunan sebanyak 2.96 peratus ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor termasuk perubahan kadar nisab haul pembayaran zakat, perpindahan tempat bertugas pembayar ke negeri lain, bersara, pemberhentian pekerja dan sebagainya,” katanya di sini, hari ini.

Mengulas lanjut, beliau berkata, peningkatan jumlah pembayaran serta agihan ini membuktikan secara jelas keyakinan masyarakat terhadap institusi berkenaan.
