Zakat fitrah Perlis ditetapkan RM9
Kadar zakat fitrah di negeri ini bagi tahun 1446 Hijrah itu telah diperkenankan Raja Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail.Bagi umat Islam yang memilih untuk menunaikan zakat fitrah dengan beras, kadar yang ditetapkan ialah satu gantang Nabawi seorang, bersamaan 2.6 kilogram.
Berangkat mengiringi baginda, Raja Puan Muda Perlis, Tuanku Dr Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil serta anakanda baginda, Hajah Sharifah Farah Adriana Jamalullail. “Pembayaran boleh dilakukan melalui amil-amil yang dilantik secara rasmi oleh Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Perlis atau menggunakan kaedah pembayaran dalam talian yang telah disediakan bagi memudahkan urusan masyarakat,” titah baginda.
Dalam pada itu, sebagai langkah menggalakkan umat Islam meningkatkan amal kebajikan sempena bulan Ramadan, baginda turut berkenan melancarkan kempen kesedaran amalan berwakaf dan berinfak 2025.
