Walaupun masih belum terungkai siapa calon UMNO dalam PRK DUN Mahkota namun yang rancak disebut-sebut adalah Zainani Jamaluddin, 47.

KLUANG: Walaupun masih belum terungkai siapa calon UMNO dalam Pilihan Raya Kecil Dewan Undangan Negeri Mahkota pada 28 September nanti, namun yang rancak disebut-sebut adalah Zainani Jamaluddin, 47.

Sepanjang tempoh itu, Zainani yang juga Pengurus Eksekutif Yayasan Perbandaran Kluang pernah menjawat jawatan Ketua Pu­teri UMNO bahagian selama lima tahun dari 2009 hingga 2013 sebelum menjadi Naib Ketua Wanita UMNO bahagian pada 2023. Selain tergolong dalam golo­ngan muda, beliau turut berke­terampilan menerajui kekosongan kerusi DUN Mahkota dan secara amnya sudah mempunyai pengikut tersendiri.
