Zahid says no word from Tengku Zafrul on leaving Umno for PKR, reminds other govt parties not to poach each other’s members
Bernama quoted the deputy prime minister also saying that, so far, Tengku Zafrul has not approached him to discuss the matter. He was responding to media reports claiming that Tengku Zafrul, who is also the minister of investment, trade and industry, is planning to join PKR to be nominated as the next Selangor menteri besar.
“Any personal agenda must be set aside if one wishes for their party to be prioritised. If personal interests take precedence, then it is up to the members to evaluate that person’s integrity,” he said.
