Zahid’s trial vacated for meeting with Muhyiddin

AHMAD Zahid Hamidi’s criminal trial involving tens of million of ringgit of Yayasan Akalbudi funds has today been vacated to allow the Umno president to meet the newly sworn-in prime minister. Defence counsel Hisyam Teh Poh Teik informed the Kuala Lumpur High Court that Zahid’s presence was required for the formation of a new cabinet in Muhyiddin Yassin’s administration.
