Zahid meets Tok Mat, says they share common goal

PETALING JAYA: Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi met with his deputy Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan on Monday (July 1).

Ahmad Zahid said that consensus was the key to strength and they were positive that they shared common goals and struggles.

"Pray that we are given strength, fortitude and persistence. May our struggle for race, religion and country be made easier," he said in a Facebook post on Monday.On Sunday , Ahmad Zahid said he was back as Umno president after having taken leave from the post since last December. He temporarily handed over his duties as president to his deputy Mohamad in the interests of the leadership and party.
