alorsetar Bersatu mendedahkan Setiausaha Politik bekas Perdana Menteri, Muhammad Zahid Md Arip adalah dalang utama perjumpaan yang dihadiri ramai pemimpin parti politik di Hotel Sheraton, pada 23 Februari lalu.
Ketua Angkatan Bersatu Anak Muda Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman berkata, beliau sendiri turut diminta menghadiri perjumpaan itu yang kononnya diarahkan Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“Pengkhianat sebenar kepada apa yang berlaku adalah Muhammad Zahid kerana dia memetik nama Tun banyak kali supaya Ahli Parlimen Bersatu menghadiri perjumpaan malam itu,” katanya ketika berucap pada Program Penerangan Bersatu Kedah di Sri Mentaloon di Alor Setar, malam tadi. Namun katanya, Dr Mahathir tidak bersetuju menerima Umno secara keseluruhan dan hanya bersedia menerima pemimpin Umno secara individu.
