KUALA LUMPUR: Muhammed Yusoff Rawther was questioned for around four hours at Bukit Aman on the second round of questioning over allegations of sexual assault by PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He was seen entering a car around 3.45pm on Tuesday before leaving via the back exit of the police headquarters.
His lawyer Datuk Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla confirmed the matter when contacted later on the same day. Yusoff had spent being questioned for over seven hours at Bukit Aman on Monday earlier over the same matter. It was reported that Yusoff, a former research assistant of Anwar, and the grandson of the late SM Mohamed Idris, former president of the Consumers Association of Penang , lodged a report at Sentul police headquarters over the case.On Wednesday , Muhammed Yusoff made a sworn statement that he was allegedly sexually assaulted by Anwar on Oct 2 last year. However, the matter was denied by Anwar, who claimed he was campaigning in the Port Dickson by-election on that day.
