In this episode, he shows how oil and water can be mixed to form a milk-like liquid. To do this, he uses a blender and a device that vacuums out the air of any object it is placed on.
He pours some water and oil into the blender and then activates the device. Once the air has been completely removed he turns on the blender. Normally you would not expect the oil and gas to mix well together but low and behold they do! What is happening here? The tiny little oil drops created through the process of blending are scattering all the light that hits them resulting in the illusion of the color white.The experiment is fun to watch and can easily be recreated at home with the right devices so we urge you not to miss this video!
