NSTnation Youth and Sports Ministry officer arrested for drug offence suspended
“I was informed of the arrest of several officers, including one from the Youth and Sports Ministry, by police early this morning.
“The involved officer will be suspended pending investigation. Every Malaysian is subject to the country's law regardless of rank and status,” he said. News on the arrest of Dengkil assemblyman Adhif Syan Abdullah and four political special officers after being tested positive for drugs has gone viral on social media.
It was reported that Adhif had denied the arrest and was expected to release a statement on the matter.
