A 1st look at Samsung’s provocative Galaxy S11
and Concept Creator have gathered together the latest details of the Galaxy S11 to put together images and video renders of the potential S11 designs. It appears that once again Samsung will be using launching three flavours of the flagship handset family; the standard Galaxy S11, a smaller Galaxy S11e, and the larger Galaxy S11 Plus. With the rise o 5G networking expect each of these to come in 4G and 5G options. Most noticeable in the renders is.
When you’re pushing five lenses into the S11 and S11+ models, you need that amount of space at the rear, plus the extra depth in the lens that can be gained by creating a raised island structure helps improve the optical performance. Unfortunately Samsung has allowed the design cues of Apple to go with a style that looks like an Ikea induction hob forced into the corner of the handset, rather than working on something more aesthetically pleasing.
What does look good is Samsung’s latest screen technology. The Infinity-O screen should offer a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz, use Dynamic AMOLED for better battery life and more intense colours, and Qualcomm’s updated ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy S11 family is expected to launch on February 18th 2020, just before the annual MWC event in Barcelona.
