A search and rescue operation began last night after reports the Miles resident fell overboard off a boat at Glenlyon Dam, about 200 kilometres south of Toowoomba, about 5:30pm Sunday. The search recommenced at first light this morning and involved a police dive squad, officers from Stanthorpe and Texas, water police and the SES.The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the incident and the effort to identify the man are ongoing.Sunwater, which owns and operates the dam, confirmed it will be closed to the public until further notice.
