A man has died in hospital after he was pulled from the water at a popular Sydney beach following a massive emergency operation involving five helicopters.
Emergency services responded to multiple Triple Zero calls about 4.50pm on Sunday August 6 at North Curl Curl Beach near Manly with reports five people had been swept out to sea.CPR was administered by paramedics and a doctor before he was taken to Northern Beaches Hospital.The 22-year-old was winched by a helicopter and taken to hospital unresponsive before he died five days later.
A 21-year-old man was rescued by Surf Club members in an inflatable rescue boat and was treated by paramedics at the scene. He was taken to the hospital in a serious but stable condition and has since been released, according to The Daily Mail.The 22-year-old has been identified as Robin Kadyan who was swimming with friends.
