Participants walked to honor those who are affected by the disease.
In York County Saturday, residents were invited to walk in 'The Walk to End Alzheimer's.' Some even took part in the Promise Garden Ceremony to signify their solidarity with those fighting.
More than 280,000 Pennsylvanians are living with Alzheimer’s, and 400,000 are caregivers. The walk is held each year by the Alzheimer’s Association to raise awareness and funds for families facing the disease.
