JOHOR BARU: Seven people, including two students and a 62-year-old man believed to be a member of Jemaah Islamiah, have been arrested following the attack on the Ulu Tiram police station.

Yoodo, a Malaysian mobile virtual network operator , has announced that the brand will be discontinued on Aug 29 this year. The MVNO states that customers will not face any interruptions on any of the services it offers, with the option to port out to “another operator of your choice”. “You will continue to enjoy existing services on the CelcomDigi network, and product and support channels from CelcomDigi without any interruptions until further notice,” it writes.The MVNO says this is part of a commitment made earlier to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission for the merger between Celcom and Digi.in October 2023 that Celcom, which had originally owned Yoodo, would be required to divest from the digital telco within 18 months following the merger.
