XPeng G6 is about to be launched in Malaysia soon and if this pricing is accurate, it may put some pressure on the likes of Tesla Model Y.

to announce the launch date and other vital information, details about the electric SUV have begun to make their way online.Malaysian Electric Vehicle Owners Club Facebook groupThe screenshot which depicted a conversation with a sales executive from XPeng Glenmarie also said that the electric SUV will be launched in Malaysia at the end of this month.

However, the G6 435 Standard comes with a 190kW electric motor while the G6 570 Long Range features a 210kW motor. Both variants offer a peak torque of 440Nm despite the differences in their power output. They also can reach a top speed of 200km/h although when it comes to 0-100km/h timing, the Long Range variant is quicker at 6.7 seconds. That being said, the difference was not that much though since the Standard model can go from 0 to 100km/h in 6.7 seconds.

When it comes to range, the figures were written right on their names although it is unclear at the moment whether XPeng and Bermaz are going to officially use these monikers in Malaysia. Powered by a 66kWh LFP battery, the G6 435 Standard can deliver a WLTP-rated range of up to 435km while the G6 570 Long Range which was fitted with an 87.5kWh battery can go even further at up to 570km.

Charging-wise, both G6 variants come standard with an 11kW AC onboard charger. Thanks to the EV’s 800V architecture, the G6 Standard model can support DC charging speed of up to 215kW while the Long Range option can go even higher at up to 280kW.
