Here's your first look at Xiaomi's first fully electric SUV. Xiaomi YU7 is said to produce 681hp and it looks inspired by the Ferrari Purosangue.
has been rather successful in its domestic China market, the smartphone brand has officially revealed its next electric vehicle model which will be called the YU7. The Xiaomi YU7 is a fully electric SUV and it looks very much inspired by thewith the Ferrari Utility Vehicle a few months ago, which sparked speculations that the next Xiaomi EV would likely be a performance SUV.
The YU7 will be equipped with a CATL-sourced NMC battery but there’s no information of its actual battery capacity and charging rate. As a comparison, the Xiaomi SU7 Max has twin motors that produces 664hp and 838Nm of torque, and a 101kWh CATL Kirin battery. For the current SU7 EV, Xiaomi has already delivered its 100,000th unit in November and it is now targeting to deliver 130,000 units by the end of this year.for the price of a Tesla Model 3. We reckon that the Xiaomi YU7 could be priced around the same range as the Tesla Model Y.at Nürburgring Nordschleife. Following the success at the track, the company recently introduced the production version of the SU7 Ultra for consumers.
