Xiaomi is working on a new UI system called MiOS, which is rumored to debut with the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Series.
has just been released and smartphone manufacturers are already working on their next-generation UIs based on the new Android OS. Xiaomi is one of these companies, and it is expected to unveilin the coming months. However, in a surprising twist, a reliable tipster has revealed that Xiaomi is planning to skip MIUI 15 altogether and launch a brand new operating system called MiOS instead.
To note, Xiaomi also registered the domain name “mios.cn” in November 2022, suggesting that the new UI could possibly be in development. However, the website currently shows a 403 error and doesn’t have an SSL certificate.
