The XFL's Houston Roughnecks, who begin play in February, unveiled their uniforms Wednesday, and much like the previous Roughnecks incarnation, they'll be going predominantly with blue and red.

The biggest change from the team that was 5-0 before the league shut down during the pandemic in 2020 is a Texas state flag-themed helmet. One side of the helmet is blue with the red oil derrick logo, while the other side is half-white and half-red to resemble the flag. Each player's jersey number also is on that side of the helmet.
The Roughnecks will have two looks. There’s the predominantly navy jerseys with white on the shoulders and red gradient numbers paired with white pants with red down the sides. Then, there’s the inverse: White jerseys with navy shoulders and red gradient numbers combined with navy pants with the red stripe down the side.
All the XFL uniforms, which were created with the help of Under Armour, have"Blood, Sweat, Respect" stitched into the back of the jerseys' collar. They also will be branded with XFL, Under Armour andThe uniforms for the XFL's Houston Roughnecks, who begin play in February 2023.“We have built an incredibly strong relationship with Under Armour over the years as our trusted partner with Project Rock,” Johnson said.
