Former WWE Champion and professional wrestling legend Sid Vicious has passed away. He was 63 years old.

Beloved professional wrestler Sid Eudy has sadly passed away after a battle with cancer. He was 63 years old.Better known as Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, and Sycho Sid, Eudy was an iconic figure in WWE and WCW history, winning two WWF Championships, two WCW World Heavyweight Championships, and the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.Eudy's son, Gunnar Eudy, announced his father's passing on Facebook.

After making a return to WCW and a sting in the United States Wrestling Association, Eudy would return to WWE in 1995, but would have to leave due to a neck injury.Eudy returned from injury in 1996 with a new gimmick: Sycho Sid. As Sycho Sid, Eudy's popularity skyrocketed. He defeated Shaw Michaels at Survivor Series 1996 to win the WWF Championship.Despite losing the title back to Michaels at the 1997 Royal Rumble, the Heartbreak Kid soon vacated it due to being unable to wrestle.
