SA-born Scotland international WP Nel is champing at the bit for a chance to face fellow veteran prop Brok Harris when the DHL Stormers and Edinburgh clash on Saturday.
The Stormers host Edinburgh at Cape Town Stadium when the Vodacom URC resumes in round 12, with John Dobson’s charges in ninth place on the standings while the Scottish visitors are fourth.
Now, 12 years later, Nel is gearing up to join another special club this weekend when he takes to the field in the shadow of Table Mountain – joining just two other double-centurions, Chris Paterson and Allan Jacobsen.It’s a fitting location for a special appearance, given the 37-year-old’s professional journey started in Cape Town at Western Province in 2008.
