The lyrics in TheWeeknd's new song 'After Hours' are very telling.
Whew, this one’s a doozy. The Weeknd’s “After Hours” lyrics meaning for Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez is pretty intense. It looks like the 30-year-old R&B crooner just couldn’t help himself; his new single, which dropped today, Feb. 19, is rife with lovelorn odes to the woman he screwed things up with. Namely, that means one of his exes in particular: Bella.
In Bella and Abel’s case, it seems they never quite got over the hurdle and split for good in 2019. “They are in different places right now, physically and mentally,” an insider told E! at the time. “Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut.”
