World Rugby has revealed a list of radical plans to speed up the game, to broaden its appeal and to grow its audience globally.
On Tuesday, World Rugby confirmed they’re considering reducing the tackle height in the elite game, the introduction of a global trial of the 20‑minute red card, removing the scrum option from a free kick at a scrum to reduce the number of set-pieces per game; while referees will be expected to apply current laws for strictly.
