Joint Action Group for Gender Equality says party should take allegations seriously and launch own probe as current laws are not adequate.
Sungai Siput MP Kesavan Subramaniam has denied allegations of sexual harassment against him.
The organisations. which are part of the Joint Action Group for Gender Equality . said the party should take seriously the allegations against Kesavan, and form an investigation panel made up of experts including both men and women. Last week, a woman lodged a police report claiming she had been a victim of sexual harassment by Kesavan, which included calling her up to 50 times a day and making verbal passes.
