While women consistently outperform men in Malaysian education enrollment rates across all levels, a disparity emerges in workplace participation. This raises questions about the challenges and barriers faced by female graduates in actively contributing to the job market.

PETALING JAYA: Wanita terus membuktikan kecemerlangan dalam bidang akademik apabila kadar kemasukan golongan itu ke universiti jauh mengatasi lelaki saban tahun.

Ketua Perangkawan, Datuk Seri Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin berkata, pencapaian wanita telah melebihi lelaki dalam sub-indeks Pencapaian pendidikan dengan skor 107.1 peratus. “Pada 2023, kadar enrolmen kasar bagi perempuan di peringkat rendah dan menengah masing-masing ialah 99.5 peratus dan 94.9 peratus. Mengulas lanjut, sub-indeks penguasaan politik pula mencatatkan skor terendah pada 9.6 peratus, iaitu 16.1 peratus wanita memegang jawatan menteri pada 2023.
