The deputy prime minister says women entrepreneurs are better paymasters with a higher level of trust compared with their male counterparts.

Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Risda chairman Noraini Ahmad opening a women entrepreneurs carnival in Batu Pahat, Johor, today.

Zahid, who is minister for rural development, said women entrepreneurs could be better paymasters with a higher level of trust compared with their male counterparts. He urged financial institutions and the ministry of entrepreneur development and the rural development ministry to give priority to applications by women entrepreneurs for loans or financial assistance.

Zahid urged government officials to go down to the ground to offer guidance, support and services in efforts to produce more successful women entrepreneurs.
