Court records show she has previously faced charges including arson, robbery, criminal trespass and false reporting — all filed in cities across North Texas over the past several years. The status of some of those cases was unclear Monday, though court records show several were dismissed. The red-bricked home is located in a quiet community of townhomes in Wylie, about 25 northeast of downtown Dallas.One of the most serious cases stemmed from a 2019 arson arrest in Mesquite. A Dallas County grand jury rejected the case, the Dallas County district clerk’s office said. Grand jury deliberations are secret, so it is unclear why.On Oct. 4, 2019, about 7:50 p.m., officers were sent to the 900 block of Bridgewater Lane, near Valleycreek Road because a house was on fire.
Odufuwa told police that she previously lived inside the house and returned because “it never fully burned down,” according to the affidavit. She said the home had been burned down twice before and the officers wouldn’t understand why she burned it down, the affidavit said.
