KUALA LUMPUR: Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman was today sentenced to seven years of imprisonment, a RM10mil fine and two strokes of the cane for all charges of abetting in criminal breach of trust (CBT), misappropriation of funds and money laundering.

The IOs showed up at SGH after receiving a call for help from the hospital regarding a verbally abusive patient. On Oct 3, Han was involved in a separate incident at The Sail at Marina Bay, a condominium in Marina Boulevard. In response to queries from The Straits Times, the Ministry of Manpower said that Han was prosecuted for, first, making a false declaration in her work pass application, and second, for working illegally as a self-employed foreigner.
