A young woman in Malaysia is facing a lawsuit worth RM500,000 after claiming a Labubu collectible she won in a lucky draw was fake. The asam laksa eatery that hosted the draw says the woman did not provide evidence to support her claim. The store that supplied the collectibles is suing the woman for defamation, alleging she posted false accusations on social media and damaged their business reputation.

Not only that, the lawyer’s letter said the customer accused the store of selling fake Labubu dolls, alleging that the authentic and fake merchandise were mixed by the business and further “discouraged” customers from visiting the store.
