WHEN seeking a luxury lifestyle, it can be tempting to look towards some of the planet’s most famous cities.
A WOMAN in Tamil Nadu, India, was awarded 2.5 million rupees in compensation after doctors removed her uterus without her consent and left a towel inside her after the surgery, Makkal Osai reported.
When she continued to suffer from pain after the surgery, she underwent a scan at another hospital, where it was found that her uterus had been removed entirely and there was a surgical towel inside her. The six-year-old pupils were the youngest participants in the event, which saw nearly 700 inventions from 15 countries.
