JOHOR BARU: Police detained a local woman for allegedly driving against traffic while under the influence of drugs and causing an accident at KM16 of Jalan Johor Baru-Ayer Hitam.
Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Rupiah Abd Wahid said the incident took place on Thursday at around 1.45am.ACP Rupiah said the car driven by the suspect hit the front and left side of another vehicle, but added that both drivers escaped unhurt.
She said the case is being investigated under Section 45 of the Road Transport Act 1987 and Section 15 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
