A woman on Monday was shot and killed in southeast Denver, police said on Twitter.
The shooting occurred near the intersection of Leetsdale Drive and Quebec Street, authorities said. The woman, who was not identified, was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
UPDATE: the victim has been pronounced deceased. The identity of the victim will be released by the Office of the Medical Examiner. No arrests at this time. Investigators are working to gather more information about what led to the shooting.
