San Jose's fire chief says the city has taken disciplinary action after firefighters gave a woman in a bikini and heels a ride-along on a firetruck near a strip joint.
The mayor of San Jose says ‘heads must roll’ if an investigation finds wrongdoing by the Fire Department.
“I am disappointed and frustrated that City policy does not allow us to share further details with the public,” Mahan added. The memo does not identify the male or explain why the firefighters gave him a ride to the strip club in the emergency vehicle. When the fire engine arrived at the club at about 9:06 p.m., a woman in a white bikini climbed into the cab of the firetruck and requested a ride-along, according to the memo.
The memo said the fire crew then left the area and headed to an industrial area in the city, stopping at 9:14 p.m. nearwhich according to its Facebook page features “nightly entertainment featuring beautiful bikini dancers.”
