Shell casings in the apartment parking lot matched a Cedar Hill homicide, the affidavit says. Cedar Hill police said Lorenz Nussbaum was shot while stopped at an intersection on his motorcycle on Nov. 2.Nov. 5 and officers found a handgun in the stolen vehicle they say he was driving. Then, in a police interview, Hamilton gave details of both shootings that “only someone who was at both scenes would have known,” the affidavit says.
Hamilton told officers he offered Goodman $2,000 to direct him to Howard’s apartment and to ask Howard to come outside. Hamilton told police he wanted to confront Howard about money Howard stole earlier that day, according to the affidavit. Goodman was arrested last week on the murder charge and two drug-possession charges, and her bail was set at $1.2 million. She was released on bond Tuesday, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department.
Paul Johnson, Hamilton’s attorney, declined to comment, saying he has not yet had the chance to fully investigate the accusations against his client. Hamilton remained in Dallas County jail Thursday on charges including murder, aggravated robbery and evading arrest, with bail is set at more than $1.9 million.. Aria writes about breaking news.
