Following the reveal of Hugh Jackman's official Wolverine costume for Deadpool 3, a fan-edited version of it imagines Logan with the iconic mask.
While the world is in love with Wolverine's costume in Deadpool 3, a fan-edited version of the image imagines what Hugh Jackman's suit would look like without sleeves and with the mask. Despite hanging up the claws after Logan, Jackman is reprising the role of the iconic X-Men hero in Deadpool 3, which will integrate Wade Wilson in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Production is currently underway as fans have gotten a glimpse of the suit in action through Deadpool 3 set photos. However, as much celebration as there is about Wolverine finally getting his suit adapted in live-action, a designer on Reddit did a few tweaks to it to get it even more comic-accurate.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT In the comics, Wolverine's yellow suit doesn't come with sleeves, and he is pretty much masked all the time. This Reddit fan design shows how great the MCU suit would look without sleeves, and if Jackman was actually wearing the cowl.
As far as the mask goes, it would be in true Marvel Studios fashion if there actually is one, but this won't be seen until fans see Deadpool 3 in theaters. Rather than spoil it through marketing material, having audience members see Jackman putting on the mask for the first time would go down as one of Marvel Studios' most iconic film moments of all time.
The only real reason there may not be an altered version of the suit is if efforts are taken to avoid having the faces of the two big names in Deadpool 3 covered up. Since Reynolds is already known for wearing a mask with his iteration of Deadpool, it makes sense with this in mind for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine to go with the maskless version of the suit for the movie's run.
