KUALA LUMPUR : A witness in the trial of Datuk Seri Najib Razak told the High Court here that he was under pressure while preparing an investment working paper for Retirement Fund Incorporated in reg

ard to a RM4bil loan for SRC International Sdn Bhd.

Amirul Imran, as the 29th witness, when asked by deputy public prosecutor Datuk Ishak Mohd Yusoff on why there were errors on the date in the working paper prepared by him, he replied that he had done it in a rush. He said the loan to SRC exceeded the shareholders' equity limit as SRC only had an equity of RM1mil, yet the approved loan applications amounted to RM4bil.
