PETALING JAYA: Penang’s diminutive Kedah-born winger Al-Hafiz Harun may make a difference for the Panthers in their Super League clash with the Red Eagles at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar tonight.
It will be a special game for the 27-year-old Al-Hafiz, who grew up admiring the formidable Kedah team who dominated the league from 2006-2008.
“This season, they have top players like Rabih , Tchet che , Kpah , and we all know Baddrol remains a top player.” They are now third with 31 points from 17 games and aim to further cement their top-three position by beating Kedah in the northern derby. Kedah are fifth with 26 points but have three games in hand.
“We’ll make sure that we get a result. I also believe we can defy the odds by finishing in the top three.”
