Could Percy Jackson take a page out of Marvel's playbook?
Disney+ is gearing up to tell a familiar story through a brand new medium. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 1 will chronicle the events of The Lightning Thief, the first of Rick Riordan's pentalogy for the titular character. As emphasized by Riordan, who also serves as an executive producer on the show, Percy Jackson will be completely faithful to the source material. That said, telling this story in serialized television allows it to unfold in a way fans have never seen before.
"I couldn't possibly say!" Bobin responded when asked about the possibility."Maybe. No. We may. I don't know. No."
