A wildfire that has stretched across 120 acres of land is ongoing in Medford, Burling ton County on Saturday morning.
According to officials, the fire began just after midnight and is burning in the area of Elderberry Drive and Jackson Road. As of about noon Saturday, officials have said the fire is 60% contained. Officials are also issued a smoke advisory and say smoke from the wildfire is expected to hang low to the ground and reduce visibility during the evening and overnight hours.The New Jersey Forest Fire Service is making significant progress in containing a wildfire burning within the wildland-urban interface in Medford, Burlington County, in the area of Elderberry Dr. & Jackson Rd.
