Area of low pressure will move south of the area producing steady rain today. The wet weather keeps temperatures raw in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Our stretch of wonderful weather sadly ended yesterday. Today, skies are gloomy, and rain is with us to begin the weekend. It will be moderate at times. Temperatures will be nearly steady in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Rain amounts from 0.50” up to 1” are possible. There are no flooding concerns right now, however, there may be ponding on roadways, poor drainage areas, and minor rises on small creeks and streams.
Still under the influence of an upper-level trough, we’ll see partly to mostly cloudy skies. It’s not as cool in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. Winds stay breezy out of the NNW 10 to 20 miles per hour. I can’t rule out a stray shower, but chances are very low.Strong energy aloft swings through Monday and could produce a couple showers in the afternoon. Most of the day is dry with considerable cloudiness. Readings fall short of average and remain in the mid to upper 50s.
