When these things get into Canberra they start to sting and the pressure on the Albanese government, particularly the aviation minister, Catherine King, doesn’t seem to be going away.Qantas boss Vanessa Hudson’s number one priority] has got to be customer service. I think the prices are at the sort of level where they’re probably not going to be going up too much.
She’s going to have to reinvest in [customer service] ... it’s the only way to get through the storm. If she doesn’t, then she’ll be following Alan Joyce ... in a couple of years’ time.
