"So that's going to be a really challenging environment for new premier to navigate, they'll have to deal with what's going on with rising interest rates and the impact that that's going to have on WA consumers," she said.
"So, what do we do if iron ore prices are not quite as strong as they are, and when there may be less demand for some of our some of our resources? And it won't be so simple to guarantee results in areas where the government has spent big in the last budget, such as social housing, health, and infrastructure.
"And actually, delivering that in an environment where we're really struggling to get labour in and really struggling to get the right skills."The 2021 election was without doubt the political high-water mark for Labor, securing huge majorities in both houses of parliament.
