James Gorman, chairman and chief executive of Morgan Stanley, will watch the AFL grand final from New York.“Collingwood is one piece of Australia that will never leave me,” Gorman says, recounting how he bumped into legendary Collingwood full-forward Peter McKenna on a return to Melbourne last year.Gorman is also full of praise for Collingwood coach Craig McCrae, whose ability to find the perspective and sheer joy in football has even won plaudits from opposition supporters.
And, like McCrae, Gorman seems to have mastered the art of taking his work and world seriously, while being prepared to laugh at himself.
