While many more women are earning college and graduate degrees, once they graduate, many face a pattern of pervasive discrimination. It exists throughout the workforce, across industries, and in all regions of the country. They control only 1.5% of hedge fund assets. The list goes on and on. Women owned firms also have few opportunities to invest funds from university endowments, which now total more than 500 billion dollars nationwide. Aon fund managers by gender delved deeply into the issue of performance.
