Why Downs & AmaZulu did not get postponements compared to TS Galaxy
TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has clarified why his club were granted a postponement while in the past Mamelodi Sundowns and AmaZulu could not get postponements following the passing away of Motjeka Madisha and Bonginkosi Ntuli.
Usuthu also had to carry on with business as usual with their fixture schedule following the passing of Ntuli in November last year.The Rockets' team bus was involved in an accident on Tuesday, where they had a head on collision with a driver of a private car, who passed away on the spot but all the passengers, including the driver in Galaxy's bus were unharmed.
The former football agent has clarified that the cases of Madisha and Ntuli had their own special circumstances. "So the League was hard-pressed to postpone a game when the family of the person who is said to be deceased say 'Our son is alive'. If you remember, it took a month, he was buried a month or so later. I also asked recently with Ntuli, why was it not postponed? The League advised again that AmaZulu were offered a postponement but the Chairman of AmaZulu, after due consideration came back and said, 'No' they don't need a postponement," he added.
