Following his historic game against the Rams, Christian McCaffrey told NBC Sports’ Peter King how the last few weeks have gone and why he is ‘glad’ to be with the 49ers.
The 26-year-old running back noted that earlier on Oct. 20, he practiced as a member of the Panthers. Just a few hours later, McCaffrey was on a flight to join his new team in Santa Clara and practiced with the 49ers for their Week 7 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
"It's a crazy league. But I loved the 49ers' run game. I know that's where God wanted me to go and now I'm happy to be here," McCaffrey said. While McCaffrey is still learning his new teammates and the 49ers' offensive game plan, he already has made his mark,
